Android is filled with so many different features that most of us are not aware of all of them. We all have been using Android since years, but still there are many hidden features that surprise us when we come to know about it. Today, we will discuss one of such hidden feature of Android Nougat that will give you tablet or Dekstop like experience on your Android Smart Phone.
The feature is basically a multi tasking option, similar to split-screen mode, but the latest update has taken it to a next level. You can use your keyboard and mouse as well to switch between windows just like you do on your desktop. Before you proceed ahead to learn about the trick, make sure you have enabled developer options on your Android device.
How to get desktop like experience on your Android Tablet or Phone with this trick:
Step #1: From the Google Play Store, download and Install Taskbar.
Step #2: Open the app and enable the app service by toggling the key as shown in the image below.
Step #3: Now check the box beside “Freeform Window support”, and then tap on “OPEN DEVELOPER OPTIONS” when prompted.
Step #4: Inside developer options, toggle on the switch beside “Force activites to be resizable”.
Step #5: Now launch the recent apps menu or the background running apps and clear them all.
Step #6: Once you have done that, re-launch the recent apps menu and expand the taskbar floating interface at the bottom-right corner.
That’s it; just tap the app drawer icon and any app you launch will now open in free form mode. Hope you liked this little trick. For more tips and tricks for your Android device, stay connected with us by following us on our social media pages – Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus
